About

A little history

The Hazean is a scion of the Haze Fantasy Football Group, a club that began in the late 1990s. The 12-member league continues today, stronger than ever, and The Hazean is meant to complement the league’s growth and direction.

The best part about The Hazean, though, is that it is for everyone! Amateurs, experts, geeks and jocks … if you play fantasy football, The Hazean can benefit you in some way.

So read up, comment, and spread the word!

Meet the authors

Michael McNeil is a Geography graduate from Louisiana State University. Though he works as a GIS Analyst in Slidell, La., his true passion is writing — Michael spent most of his college career writing sports stories for The Daily Reveille and The Advocate. Michael has served as the commissioner of Haze since the league’s inception and won his first title in 2007.

Blaine Clancy contributes often to The Hazean and it is about time he got mentioned as an author. Clancy attends Louisiana State University and is set to graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering in the spring of 2008. He has played and coached many sports and participates in any fantasy league available, including the Haze Fantasy Football League. Clancy has yet to win a Haze title despite boasting one of the best winning percentages of all Haze owners.

Marc Budyach is a long-time Haze member who contributes regularly to the blog. Budyach is a huge New Orleans Saints, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls fan who always has his nose in something involving sports. He lives in Baton Rouge, La., and is a father of two beautiful baby girls. Budyach won a Haze Championship in 2005 thanks to Larry Johnson’s break-out campaign.

  3. The Huddle for me. Although it’s a “pay” site it is the only one I will ever give money to. There is also alot of free information.

  6. I would like to invite you and your writers to submit your articles to my website. In respect to what you have going on here, I won’t post the website address or name.

Your articles do not have to be exclusive to us and I wouldn’t mind including links to this site along with your articles. Our articles are posted on a popular league management site that would give you exposure to thousands of fantasy footballers.

If you’re interested, please shoot me an email.
