Last year, this blog began just before the NFL draft. One of our early pieces was a first-round mock draft and we want to continue that tradition this year.
Haze members Marc Budyach, Aaron Kadkhodai and I participated in 2007’s first-round mock draft. That was great and all, but I want more people to contribute to the results this year. So, I am opening up the invitations to everyone, including my fellow bloggers. If you want in on The Hazean’s second-annual NFL mock draft, which will post the week of the 2008 NFL draft, leave a comment or email me your contact information.
It would be best if you all shot me an email, that way I can create a contact list on Gmail. Since there only are 31 picks in the first round this year, I will cap off the participant field at 31.
First come, first serve on team choices. If you do not have a preference, then I will assign teams randomly after the 31-person field is set.
So … I am in, and I choose to represent the New Orleans Saints at No. 10. Go!

I would have but I’m a Saints fan 😉 I’ll take someone where ever you need me Hazey. I’m sure my Mock and Profile guy, TJ Ford would love to take the Falcons. Hang on to them while I ask him.
I set the Falcons asides for TJ Ford. As for you, just pick someone else to do. I knew you and 100s of my friends would want the Saints, but the host gets first choice! Thanks for participating and try to get some more of your guys in on this too, we are 1/3 of the way to capacity.
