Saints’ Rickey Jackson: Hall of Famer?

This has no fantasy football relevance whatsoever, I just wanted to throw this out there as a Saints’ fan.

I am really excited to see former New Orleans Saints’ linebacker Rickey Jackson on the short list of candidates for entry into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I know Jackson has substantial off-the-field trouble, but he really was a great football player on the field and led one of the most feared linebacking corps in NFL history.

No Saints have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. It would be quite memorable for all Saints’ fans to see Jackson’s bust in Canton, Ohio, next year.

  1. Look at it for what its worth! Hands down, he was a great ball player! Were his personal life is important, nobody really knows! We only see the child support amount! We dont have drugs, abuse, dui’s, or violence. There are a lot of hof’rs that have horrible track records! It goes to say that he and ALL of his kids are great together! Give credit when its due! He has my vote! GO CHAMP!
