NFL releases 2007 season schedule

The National Football League announced its 17-week regular season schedule today via NFL.com.

A personal note of pride: The New Orleans Saints have four scheduled prime-time games: The Saints open the NFL regular season on Thursday, Sept. 6, at defending-Super Bowl champion Indianapolis, host Tennessee in the home opener on Monday, Sept. 24, travel to Seattle on Sunday night, Oct. 14, and play at Atlanta on Monday, Dec. 10.

The best games of the year for New Orleans may be the last two weeks of the season, which are mirror images of the Saints playoff schedule last year. The Saints will host Philadelphia in a rematch of last year’s NFC Divisional playoff round, then travel to Chicago in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game in the season finale.
