FanProphet.com offers this piece about Larry Johnson’s value following the departure of starting quarterback Trent Green.

Green’s exodus to Miami leaves Damon Huard as Chiefs’ quarterback, which means Johnson will be expected to carry the load for the Chiefs again this season.

It begs the question: How long can LJ’s body handle this workload? A tired body equals a weak body, and it might not be long before Johnson starts suffering nagging injuries on a weekly basis.

Johnson is highly regarded by many fantasy football experts as the No. 2 runningback, but Rams’ runningback Steven Jackson has been gaining ground on LJ.

With Green’s departure, Jackson could surpass LJ as the No. 2 back this fall.
